All of these photos were frustrating, since the long exposure time for the little handheld camera made everything shaky, and I didn't have a tripod with me.
At last, victory! Here I rested the camera on a railing and tilted it up to get this shot somewhat steady:
The new Westfield San Francisco Centre cost a TON of money to build in order to preserve the historic, 1908 glass dome. I took a bunch of pics & a video to preserve its first holiday season restored to prominence.
Not only is Richard cool enough to live in a fabulous Victorian he restored himself, then share it with many other San Francisco folks, but he's got a great sense of humor too. Prominently displayed in his basement player music room:

I'm lucky enough to have a fabulous organization to volunteer with - San Francisco City Guides. What more could you ask for - an army of volunteers who lead no fewer than THIRTY walking tours per week in San Francisco. For free.
I'm also lucky because some of our special events are held in a most special home - Richard Reutlinger's fabulously restored Victorian near Alamo Square. The exterior looks like this:

This home was gutted and turned into a church in the 60's, and Richard purchased it from them in the late 60's and has slowly, painstakingly restored it back to Victorian glory. This is an authentic Henry Geilfuss, and it's so fabulous to have one of the San Francisco Victorians of Geilfuss shown so well in the 21st century.
